Instructions
1. Preheat & Prepare:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil to catch drippings and for easy cleanup.
2. Slice & Marinate the Ribs:
- Slice the pork spareribs into individual ribs for even cooking and better sauce coverage.
- In a large bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, and minced garlic until the honey and sugar are fully dissolved.
- Stir in the baking soda. The mixture will foam slightly — this helps tenderize the meat and enhances caramelization.
- Add the sliced ribs to the bowl and toss to coat thoroughly in the sauce mixture.
