RASPBERRY CHOCOLATE GANACHE CAKE

Ingredients
Chocolate Cake Layers
• 2 cups flour
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup milk
• ½ cup vegetable oil
• 2 large eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 cup hot water (or hot coffee – for a more intense aroma)
Raspberry Layer
• 2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
• ⅓ cup granulated sugar
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon cornstarch (mixed with 1 tablespoon water)
Chocolate Ganache
• 300 g dark chocolate
• 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
• 2 tablespoons butter
For the Filling and Topping
• 1–1.5 cups whipped cream (or chocolate whipped cream)
