Raspberry-Bliss Brie Jalapeño Boat

Step 1: Prepare the Jalapeños

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice jalapeños lengthwise.
  3. Remove seeds and membranes for milder heat, or leave a little for extra spice.
  4. Place peppers cut-side up on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Lightly spray or brush with oil.

Step 2: Pre-Bake the Peppers

  • Bake jalapeños for 8–10 minutes until slightly softened but still holding their shape.
  • This step ensures tender peppers without overcooking the cheese later.

Step 3: Fill the Boats

  1. Press Brie strips into each jalapeño half.
  2. Spoon raspberry preserves over the Brie.
  3. Drizzle lightly with honey and lemon juice if using.
  4. Sprinkle with nuts for texture, if desired.

Step 4: Bake Until Melty

  • Return to oven and bake for 8–10 minutes, until Brie is melted and bubbly.
  • Avoid overbaking to prevent cheese from completely running out.

Step 5: Finish and Serve

  • Garnish with fresh herbs.
  • Let cool for 2–3 minutes before serving.
