1. Prepare the Springform Pan:
- Line the bottom of a 9-inch (23 cm) springform pan with parchment paper by placing the paper between the base and the rim before sealing. This helps with smooth removal.
2. Make the Oreo Crust:
- In a food processor, blend the Oreo cookies (with filling) into fine crumbs.
- Mix in melted butter until the crumbs resemble wet sand and begin to stick together.
- Press the mixture evenly into the base and about ½ inch up the sides of the springform pan. Chill in the fridge while preparing the filling.
3. Melt the Chocolate:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chopped chocolate with ½ cup cold heavy cream.
- Microwave in 20ā30 second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and melted. Let cool slightly.
