3️⃣ Prepare the Dredging Station
- Bowl 1: All-purpose flour
- Bowl 2: Beaten eggs
- Bowl 3: Crushed hot chips
Tip: Use a food processor for fine chip crumbs, or crush them in a zip-top bag with a rolling pin for a chunkier coating.
4️⃣ Coat the Boudin Balls
- Roll each frozen boudin ball in flour to coat.
- Dip into the beaten eggs, allowing the excess to drip off.
- Roll in crushed hot chips, pressing gently so the crumbs adhere well.
5️⃣ Fry to Perfection
- Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry boudin balls in small batches for 3–4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
6️⃣ Serve & Devour
- Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
- Perfect dipping sauces: ranch, spicy remoulade, chipotle mayo, or your favorite hot sauce!
