Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
For the Tzatziki Sauce
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- ½ cucumber, grated and squeezed dry
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- Salt & pepper to taste
For the Wraps
- 4 large tortilla wraps or Greek pitas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
- ½ red onion, thinly sliced
- ½ cup crumbled feta
- Optional: olives, cucumber slices
Directions
Prepare the Chicken
- In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to fully blend the marinade so the seasonings are evenly distributed.
- Add the thinly sliced chicken breasts to the marinade and toss until every piece is well coated. Cover and allow the chicken to marinate for 15–30 minutes. This brief marinating time adds flavor and keeps the chicken juicy during cooking.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add the marinated chicken in a single layer and cook, turning occasionally, until the pieces are golden on the outside and fully cooked through. The chicken should be lightly browned with no pink remaining in the center. Remove from heat and set aside.
