Delicious Brown Sugar Chops

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Oven and Pan

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Lightly grease a large baking dish to prevent sticking.

2️⃣ Arrange and Layer the Ingredients

  1. Place the pork chops evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of brown sugar over the top of each pork chop.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of butter on top of each chop (cut into a square or slice for even melting).

3️⃣ Add Sauces

  • Drizzle the soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce evenly over the pork chops.

4️⃣ Bake Covered

  • Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 40 minutes to allow the chops to cook through and absorb flavor.

5️⃣ Bake Uncovered

  • After 40 minutes, remove the foil and return the dish to the oven.
  • Bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes. The brown sugar will caramelize and the tops of the pork chops will turn golden and slightly crispy.

6️⃣ Serve

  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving to retain juices.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or rice to soak up the flavorful glaze.
