Decadent Caramel Brownie Pie

  • ½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt (optional, for salted caramel flavor)

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.

2. Make the Crust:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until the texture resembles wet sand.
  2. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pie dish.
  3. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.

3. Make the Brownie Filling:

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate chips in 20-second increments, stirring between each, until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Stir the melted chocolate mixture into the sugar mixture until glossy.

4. Add the Dry Ingredients:

  1. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.

5. Assemble the Pie:

  1. Spread half of the brownie batter evenly into the cooled graham cracker crust.
  2. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the batter and optionally sprinkle with sea salt for a sweet-salty finish.
  3. Gently spread the remaining brownie batter over the caramel layer to cover completely.

6. Bake:
