Creamy Garlic Cajun Chicken Linguine with Mozzarella Parmesan Sauce

Step 1: Cook the Linguine

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook the linguine until al dente according to package instructions.
  3. Before draining, reserve ½ cup of the pasta water. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Cajun Chicken

  1. Pat chicken strips dry. Season with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. Transfer cooked chicken to a plate and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Whisk in cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan until the sauce becomes creamy and velvety.
  6. Add red pepper flakes for heat, if using.

Step 4: Combine Pasta and Chicken
