Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat Oven
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and line a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Make the Cookie Base
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
- Beat in the egg, eggnog, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Set the batter aside while you prepare the cream cheese swirl.
3️⃣ Prepare Cream Cheese Swirl
- In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the sugar until smooth and lump-free.
- Add the egg yolk and vanilla extract, and mix until creamy and well blended.
4️⃣ Assemble and Bake
