- Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the garlic: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute—avoid browning.
- Make the Alfredo sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, whisking until melted and smooth. Add Old Bay, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Add the crab: Gently fold in the lump crab meat, being careful not to break it up too much. Let the crab warm through for 2–3 minutes without boiling.
- Toss the pasta: Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss gently until evenly coated in the sauce.
