Creamy Cheesecake Crescent Roll Bake

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

2️⃣ Make the Cream Cheese Filling:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and sour cream until smooth and creamy. If using, mix in the lemon zest for a fresh kick.
  2. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, until the filling is smooth and lump-free.

3️⃣ Lay the Crescent Rolls:

  1. Unroll the crescent roll dough and divide it into individual triangles. Arrange half of the triangles flat across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

4️⃣ Spread the Cream Cheese Filling:

  1. Carefully pour the cream cheese mixture over the first layer of crescent rolls, spreading it evenly with a spatula to cover the dough completely.

5️⃣ Top with Remaining Rolls:

  1. Place the remaining crescent roll triangles over the cream cheese filling, tucking the edges in to create a sealed top layer. Don’t worry if the filling peeks through — it will set during baking.

6️⃣ Brush and Add Sugar:
