1ļøā£ Bake the Vanilla Cake:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 8-inch round cake pans with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, oil, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well blended.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until smooth, with no lumps.
- Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared pans.
- Bake for 25ā30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely before frosting.

- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy and smooth (about 2 minutes).
- Add cocoa powder and beat until fully combined.
- Gradually add powdered sugar, ½ cup at a time, beating on low speed to prevent a sugar cloud, then increasing to medium-high until fluffy.
- Add cream or milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the frosting is smooth and spreadable.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to balance the sweetness.
