1️⃣ Optional Flavor Boost (Sauté First)
- In a hot skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the sliced sausage, bell peppers, and onion for 5–7 minutes, or until sausage is slightly browned and veggies begin to soften.
- This step enhances the flavor but can be skipped if you’re short on time.
2️⃣ Crockpot Assembly
- Add the meat and veggie mixture to your slow cooker.
- Pour in the frozen hash browns, cheddar cheese soup, heavy cream, sour cream, ranch seasoning, and shredded cheese.
- Stir until everything is evenly mixed and coated.
3️⃣ Cook Low and Slow
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 hours or LOW for 4 hours.
- Stir once halfway through to ensure even cooking, especially if your crockpot runs hot.
4️⃣ Serve & Enjoy
- Spoon into bowls and serve warm. Garnish with extra shredded cheese, chopped parsley, or crispy bacon bits for added flair.
- Pairs well with a green salad or steamed veggies on the side.
