Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray or a small amount of oil to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
2️⃣ Cook the Beef
In a large skillet set over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion together. Stir frequently to break the meat into small crumbles and ensure even browning.
Continue cooking until the beef is no longer pink and the onion is soft and translucent, about 6–8 minutes. Once cooked, carefully drain off any excess grease to avoid a greasy final dish.
3️⃣ Mix the Sauce
Add the diced tomatoes (with their juices), condensed cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and a pinch each of salt and black pepper to the skillet with the cooked beef mixture.
Stir thoroughly until everything is evenly combined and the soup has fully blended with the tomato and seasonings, forming a rich, savory sauce.
4️⃣ Combine with Pasta
Add the cooked pasta directly into the skillet or transfer both to a large mixing bowl if preferred. Gently fold the ingredients together until the pasta is fully coated and evenly distributed throughout the sauce.
