Preheat the oven:
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray it with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
Mix the dough:
In a mixing bowl, combine the mozzarella, parmesan, and egg. Stir until well mixed and evenly coated. Add garlic powder and Italian seasoning to taste, and stir again.
Form the cheesy “bread”:
Spread the mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet. Use a spatula or your hands to flatten and shape it into a rectangle or circle, depending on your preference. Aim for about 1/4-inch thickness.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges begin to turn golden brown. (User tip: 12 minutes worked well!)
Broil to finish:
Turn on the broiler for 1 minute at the end to get a beautifully browned, bubbly top. Watch closely to avoid burning.
Cool and enjoy:
Let cool for a minute or two, then slice and serve! Enjoy on its own or dip into marinara sauce, ranch, or garlic butter.
