Cheesecake Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies – Soft, Sweet, and Totally Irresistible

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Make the cheesecake filling: In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sugar, and egg yolk until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the cookie dough: Slice or scoop the cookie dough into 1-tablespoon portions. Flatten half of the portions into disks to form the bottoms.
  4. Stuff the cookies: Add about 1 teaspoon of the cheesecake filling onto the center of each bottom disk. Flatten another piece of dough and place it on top, sealing the edges to fully enclose the filling.
  5. Bake: Place stuffed cookies onto the prepared baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart. Bake for 11–13 minutes, or until golden brown on the edges.
  6. Cool: Let the cookies cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
