1. Prepare the Crunch Layer
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a medium bowl, mix the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, until the crust is lightly golden. Let cool completely.
2. Make the Caramel Layer
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine unwrapped caramel candies and heavy cream.
- Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
- Pour the caramel over the cooled crust and spread it evenly with a spatula. Let it set for 10–15 minutes.
3. Add the Chocolate Topping
- In a clean microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and vegetable oil (if using) in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate over the caramel layer and spread evenly to cover.
- Use a toothpick or fork to create swirls or patterns for a decorative finish.
4. Chill and Serve
