Caramel Apple Pie Bites

Instructions

1. Prepare the Apple Filling:

  1. In a medium bowl, toss the finely diced apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  2. In a small bowl, combine granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour.
  3. Add the sugar mixture to the apples and mix well until evenly coated.

2. Prepare the Pie Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pie crusts on a lightly floured surface. Use a round cookie cutter or a glass to cut out 2–3 inch circles from the dough.

3. Assemble the Bites:

  1. Place a small spoonful of apple filling in the center of each dough circle.
  2. Drizzle a bit of caramel sauce over the filling.
  3. Fold edges inward to form a rustic tart shape or press closed with a fork for sealed bites.
  4. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet.
