  2. Roll each dough ball in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated, gently pressing to help the coating adhere.

7. Bake

  1. Place the coated cookies on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading.
  2. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown and the centers are just set. The caramel inside should remain soft and gooey.
  3. Avoid overbaking, as this can cause the caramel to harden and the cookies to dry out.
