Ingredients

- 200 g crab meat (fresh, canned, or imitation)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper
Creamy Dip Mixture
- 200 g cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup shredded cheddar
- ¼ cup grated parmesan
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- Optional: ½ tsp Old Bay or Cajun seasoning for extra flavor
Topping
- Extra mozzarella + cheddar
- Paprika or chili flakes
Instructions
Sauté the Shrimp
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat until fully liquefied and lightly sizzling.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, stirring constantly until fragrant but not browned, to avoid bitterness.
- Add the chopped shrimp to the pan and cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring gently, until the shrimp turn just pink and opaque. Do not overcook, as they will continue to cook during baking.
- Season with paprika, salt, and pepper, stirring to evenly coat the shrimp in the seasoning.
- Remove the pan from the heat and immediately mix in the crab meat, folding gently so the delicate crab stays intact while blending with the shrimp.
