🍷 Wine Sago with Cream
A decadent dessert with the rich flavors of red wine and the creamy smoothness of sweetened milk, served over chewy, delicate sago pearls.
🧾 Ingredients
For the Sago:
- 400ml water
- 300ml pure grape juice (or 1 packet of juice dissolved in 300ml water)
- 300ml table red wine
- 100g sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 12 cloves
- 120g sago
- Note: After refrigerating, it became very firm, so I used an additional half cup of grape juice and half a cup of water to achieve the creamy consistency of the sago.
For the Cream:
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (395g)
- 2 tablespoons (or 30g) cornstarch
- 400ml whole milk
- 1 can of heavy cream (200g)
