Wine Sago with Cream

🍷 Wine Sago with Cream

A decadent dessert with the rich flavors of red wine and the creamy smoothness of sweetened milk, served over chewy, delicate sago pearls.


🧾 Ingredients

For the Sago:

  • 400ml water
  • 300ml pure grape juice (or 1 packet of juice dissolved in 300ml water)
  • 300ml table red wine
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 12 cloves
  • 120g sago
  • Note: After refrigerating, it became very firm, so I used an additional half cup of grape juice and half a cup of water to achieve the creamy consistency of the sago.

For the Cream:

  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (395g)
  • 2 tablespoons (or 30g) cornstarch
  • 400ml whole milk
  • 1 can of heavy cream (200g)
