👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven: Set to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Combine wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter until smooth.
- Bring it together: Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in apples: Gently stir in the diced apples until evenly distributed in the batter.
- Scoop & shape: Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop mounds of batter onto the baking sheet. Shape into small, round fritters about 2 inches wide.
- Bake: Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
