Ingredients for Sausage Stew
Serves 6:
4 Morteau sausages (or good quality smoked sausages)
1 green cabbage (about 1 kg), shredded
6 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
4 carrots, peeled and cut into chunks
2 leeks, cleaned and sliced
2 onions, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 bouquet garni (thyme, bay leaf, parsley)
2 liters of homemade vegetable stock
Salt and freshly ground pepper
2 tablespoons of olive oil
