👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prep the Pan
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
2️⃣ Cream the Wet Ingredients
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and smooth (about 2–3 minutes).
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
3️⃣ Mix the Dry Ingredients
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined—do not overmix.
4️⃣ Add the Butterscotch
- Fold in the butterscotch chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
5️⃣ Bake
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

- Let bars cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before slicing into squares or rectangles.
