2. Prepare the Edible Cookie Dough:
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the heat-treated flour and salt, and mix until a dough forms.
- Fold in the chocolate chips. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes for easier spreading.
3. Assemble the Cake:
- Place one cooled brownie layer on a serving plate or cake stand. Spread half of the cookie dough evenly over the top.
- Place the second brownie layer on top, then spread the remaining cookie dough on top of the second layer. Smooth the top with an offset spatula.
