1ļøā£ Cook the Noodles
- Cook lo mein noodles according to the package directions until al dente.
- Drain, rinse briefly under cold water to stop cooking, and set aside.
2ļøā£ Marinate the Beef
- In a medium bowl, toss sliced beef with 1 tablespoon soy sauce and cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Let it sit while prepping the rest of the ingredientsāthis step helps tenderize and seal in the juices.
3ļøā£ Sear the Beef
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add beef in a single layer and stir-fry for 2ā3 minutes until browned and just cooked through.
- Remove beef from the pan and set aside.
4ļøā£ Cook the Broccoli
- In the same skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil.
- Add broccoli florets, minced garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 2ā3 minutes until the broccoli begins to brighten and slightly soften.
- Pour in ¼ cup water, cover with a lid, and let steam for 3ā5 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
