1ď¸âŁ Cook the Sausage
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the sausage patties for 3â5 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels and let cool slightly.
2ď¸âŁ Prepare the Pancake Batter
- In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, vanilla extract, melted butter, and maple syrup until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until mostly smooth (some lumps are fine).
3ď¸âŁ Dip the Sausages in the Batter
- Preheat a griddle or large skillet over medium heat and coat lightly with oil or non-stick spray.
- Dip each sausage patty into the pancake batter, making sure itâs fully coated.
4ď¸âŁ Cook the Pancakes
- Place the battered sausage patties onto the griddle and cook for 2â3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Repeat with the remaining patties, adding more oil or non-stick spray to the griddle as needed.
