Salted Caramel Cookies ,

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Boil the Chocolate Base

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine granulated sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa powder.
  2. Stir constantly and bring the mixture to a full boil.
  3. Once boiling, allow it to bubble for exactly 1 minute, then immediately remove from heat to prevent overcooking.

2️⃣ Mix the Cookie Dough

  1. Stir in the oats, vanilla extract, and salt while the mixture is still hot. Mix until everything is evenly incorporated and thickened.

3️⃣ Form & Fill the Cookies

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of the mixture onto the paper, gently flattening each into a round shape.
  3. Using the back of a spoon or your thumb, press a small well into the center of each cookie.
  4. Fill each well with a small spoonful of caramel sauce.
