👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Boil the Chocolate Base
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine granulated sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa powder.
- Stir constantly and bring the mixture to a full boil.
- Once boiling, allow it to bubble for exactly 1 minute, then immediately remove from heat to prevent overcooking.
2️⃣ Mix the Cookie Dough
- Stir in the oats, vanilla extract, and salt while the mixture is still hot. Mix until everything is evenly incorporated and thickened.
3️⃣ Form & Fill the Cookies
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of the mixture onto the paper, gently flattening each into a round shape.
- Using the back of a spoon or your thumb, press a small well into the center of each cookie.
- Fill each well with a small spoonful of caramel sauce.
