3. Finish and Serve:
- Once the cake comes out of the oven, immediately pour the warm icing evenly over the hot cake.
- Allow the cake to cool completely so the icing sets and absorbs into the cake.
- Serve at room temperature or chilled. Optional: top with extra coconut or pecans for presentation.
