Orange Cream Cake with Yellow Buttercream Frosting

🧾 Ingredients

For the Cake:

  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

For the Yellow Buttercream Frosting:

  • 4 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 2–3 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Yellow food coloring, to desired shade
