Nestle Toll House Death by Chocolate Cake

Instructions

Make the Cake:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan generously.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix and instant pudding mix.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla, oil, sour cream (or buttermilk), and brewed coffee until smooth and well blended.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined and smooth.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips gently using a spatula or wooden spoon.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with only a few moist crumbs.
  8. Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then carefully invert it onto a serving platter or cake plate. Let cool slightly before adding ganache.
