My Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2️⃣ Make the Dough

  1. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Gradually stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until a smooth dough forms.

3️⃣ Shape the Cookies

  1. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 tablespoon each.
  2. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  3. Flatten each cookie gently with a fork in a crisscross pattern. Dip the fork in flour or sugar to prevent sticking.

4️⃣ Bake

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are just set.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
