- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2️⃣ Make the Dough
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
3️⃣ Shape the Cookies
- Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 tablespoon each.
- Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Flatten each cookie gently with a fork in a crisscross pattern. Dip the fork in flour or sugar to prevent sticking.
4️⃣ Bake
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are just set.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
