Moist and Rich Chocolate Cake

  1. Optional Chocolate Chunks: If you have chocolate chips or a chocolate bar, chop the chocolate into chunks and fold them into the batter. This will give your cake extra bursts of chocolate in every bite!
  2. Prepare the Pan: Line your cake pan with parchment paper or grease it with butter or oil. Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  3. Bake the Cake: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the cake pan in the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Oven temperatures vary, so check the cake a few minutes before the suggested time to avoid overbaking.
