Jack Frost’s Frosted Christmas Cocoa

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Heat the Milk

In a small saucepan, warm the whole milk over medium heat. Stir occasionally to prevent scalding. Heat until the milk is hot but not boiling—look for steam rising and small bubbles around the edge.

2. Melt the Chocolate

Reduce heat to low and stir in the white chocolate chips. Stir constantly until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.

3. Add Flavor and Color

Stir in the peppermint extract and a few drops of blue food coloring. Mix well until the color is evenly distributed. Add more coloring for a deeper icy blue, if desired.

4. Serve

Pour the hot cocoa into festive mugs or clear glass mugs to show off the wintery hue.

5. Top and Garnish

  • Add a generous swirl of whipped cream on top of each mug.
  • Sprinkle with crushed peppermint candies for a frosty crunch and beautiful presentation.
