Ingredients

For the  Dough
  • Unsalted  butter: 1 cup (2 sticks), softened
  • Granulated sugar: 1 cup
  • Eggs: 2 large
  • Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
  • All-purpose flour: 3 cups
  • Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: ½ teaspoon
For the Filling
  • Ground walnuts: 1 cup (finely ground)
  • Granulated sugar: ½ cup
  • Powdered sugar: ¼ cup
  • Ground cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
  • Ground nutmeg: ¼ teaspoon
