Honey Peach Cream Cheese Cupcakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prep:
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper cupcake liners to ensure easy removal and clean-up.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream Butter and Sugar:
    In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar using a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium speed until the mixture is light and fluffy—about 2–3 minutes. This creates air in the batter for a lighter cupcake.
  4. Add Eggs and Vanilla:
    Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  5. Combine Wet and Dry:
    Alternately add the flour mixture and buttermilk to the butter mixture in batches, starting and ending with the flour. Mix until just combined—do not overmix, as this can toughen the cupcakes.
