Honey-Garlic Chicken with Butter Noodles & Pepper Carrots

👩‍🍳 Directions

1️⃣ Cook the Chicken

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 6–8 minutes until browned and cooked through.

2️⃣ Make the Honey-Garlic Sauce

  1. Lower the heat slightly and add soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, rice vinegar (or lemon juice), and water to the pan.
  2. Stir and simmer for 8–10 minutes until the sauce reduces and becomes sticky, coating the chicken nicely.
  3. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds if desired.

3️⃣ Prepare the Butter Noodles

  1. While the chicken simmers, toss warm cooked noodles with butter, salt, pepper, and optional Parmesan.
  2. Top with sliced green onions for extra flavor and color.

4️⃣ Cook the Carrots

  1. Steam or boil carrot slices for 4–5 minutes until just tender.
  2. Season with salt and pepper. Add a tiny drizzle of butter for richness, if desired.
