Homemade Bagel Recipe


Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a large pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil and add honey and baking soda.
Boil bagels for 30–45 seconds per side, then place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake:

Brush with egg wash (optional) and sprinkle with toppings.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown.
Cool & enjoy!

Let the bagels cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
