Ingredients
For the Cupcakes:
- 1 + 1/2 cups (190 g) flour
- 1 + 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (115 g) butter (at room temperature)
- 3/4 cup (150 g) sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk
For the Cinnamon Swirl (Inside & Top):
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 + 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
For the Frosting:
- 1 cup (230 g) butter (at room temperature)
- 3 cups (375 g) powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk or cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
For the Golden Caramel Drizzle (Optional):
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce or honey
- A pinch of edible gold dust (optional)
