Instructions
1. Cook the Noodles:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package directions until al dente. Reserve about ½ cup of the pasta water, then drain the noodles and set aside.
2. Prepare the Steak:
Pat the sirloin dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides. Cut into bite-sized strips for faster cooking (optional). Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for 2ā3 minutes per side, until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the pan and set aside.
3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter. Add the minced garlic and sautĆ© for 30ā45 seconds, just until fragrant. Reduce the heat to medium-low and stir in the heavy cream. Simmer for 1ā2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
