Set the Fudge
- Line an 8×8-inch pan with aluminum foil, pressing it snugly into the corners and leaving a slight overhang on the sides to make removal easier later.
- Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly using a spatula, smoothing the surface so the thickness is consistent across the pan.
- Sprinkle the reserved walnuts evenly over the top, gently pressing them into the surface so they adhere once the fudge sets.
Chill and Serve
- Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is completely firm to the touch.
- Once fully set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the foil overhang and transfer it to a cutting board. Cut into neat squares using a sharp knife, wiping the blade between cuts for clean edges.
- Serve immediately or arrange on a platter for sharing. The fudge holds its shape best when served slightly chilled.
