Step 1: Preheat Oven
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
Step 2: Prepare the Casserole Mixture
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, stuffing mix, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to incorporate everything evenly.
- If desired, mix in 2 tablespoons of melted butter for a richer texture and flavor.
Step 3: Bake the Casserole
- Transfer the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling on top.
Step 4: Serve
- Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve warm with a side of vegetables or salad for a complete meal.
