1ļøā£ Bake the Cake:
- Preheat your oven and prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions.
- Pour the batter into two 9-inch round cake pans (or one large 9×13-inch rectangular pan).
- Bake as directed, then allow the cake layers to cool completely.
2ļøā£ Soften the Ice Cream:
- Let vanilla ice cream sit out for 10ā15 minutes until it becomes easily spreadable but not melted.
3ļøā£ Assemble the Cake:
- Place the first cake layer on a serving plate or cake board.
- Spread a thick, even layer of softened vanilla ice cream over the cake.
- Drizzle generously with warm chocolate sauce.
- Optional: Add a layer of crushed Oreos or chopped nuts for extra crunch and flavor.
- Top with the second cake layer and gently press down to set.
- Wrap the entire cake in plastic wrap or cover with foil. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
