Serving & Storage Tips
These crispy cheesy hash browns are best served immediately while they’re still hot and crispy. They’re a great side for breakfast, brunch, or any meal that could use a cheesy, crispy boost!
Storage:
- Store any leftover hash browns in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- To reheat, place them in a hot skillet for a few minutes on each side to restore their crispiness. Alternatively, you can reheat them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes.
Tips:
- If you prefer a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce to the mixture.
- For a slightly different flavor, try using a mix of different cheeses, such as Monterey Jack or mozzarella, in place of cheddar.
- If you want to make mini hash browns, simply use a smaller scoop of the mixture and form bite-sized patties.
