👨🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Cake Layer
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the spice cake mix, pumpkin puree, melted butter, and egg until fully combined. The mixture will be thick.
- Spread the batter evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
2️⃣ Make the Cream Cheese Filling
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add in eggs and vanilla extract and mix until well incorporated.
- Gradually mix in powdered sugar, followed by cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Pour the filling over the cake layer and spread it evenly.
3️⃣ Bake
- Bake the cake for 45 minutes. The center should be slightly gooey while the edges are set.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan before frosting.
4️⃣ Make the Cinnamon Frosting
- In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy.
- Add powdered sugar gradually and beat until smooth.
- Mix in vanilla and cinnamon until fully blended.
5️⃣ Frost and Serve
