1ļøā£ Make the Fries
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) or air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss cut potatoes with oil, salt, pepper, and optional paprika or garlic powder.
- Oven: Spread on a baking sheet and bake 25ā30 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Air Fryer: Cook for 18ā20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Pan-Fry: Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
2ļøā£ Cook the Steak
- Pat steak dry and season both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Sear steak for 3ā4 minutes per side (for medium), adjusting based on thickness and preferred doneness.
- Add butter in the final minute and baste over the steak.
- Transfer to a plate and let rest while making the sauce.
3ļøā£ Make the Creamy Mushroom Sauce
- In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add sliced mushrooms and cook until browned, about 5ā6 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and sautƩ for 30 seconds.
- Pour in the cream and Dijon mustard (if using), stir well, and simmer 2ā3 minutes until thickened slightly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4ļøā£ Build the Fresh Salad
- In a bowl, combine lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and sliced onion.
- Drizzle with olive oil and vinegar or lemon juice.
- Season lightly with salt and pepper and toss to coat evenly.
