Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ¼ cup of pasta water if needed.

Step 2: SautƩ the Shrimp

  1. While the pasta cooks, season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tbsp of the butter. Add shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side, or until opaque and pink. Remove and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Cajun Cream Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp butter and sautƩ the minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Stir in Parmesan cheese and allow to melt into the sauce. Add more Cajun seasoning if desired for extra kick.
  4. If the sauce is too thick, stir in a splash of reserved pasta water.

Step 4: Combine & Serve
