Make-Ahead and Storage Tips
If you’re preparing these cups in advance, you can assemble them up to a day ahead of time. Simply follow the recipe through step 4, cover the muffin pan with plastic wrap, and store it in the refrigerator until you’re ready to bake. When ready, bake as directed, but be sure to add an extra minute or two to the baking time if baking straight from the fridge.
These cups can also be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply warm them in the microwave for 30-60 seconds or place them in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-10 minutes until heated through.
