Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites

👩‍🍳 Directions

  1. Prep the cinnamon rolls: Open the can of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into 4 equal pieces. Set aside.
  2. Make the custard: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until fully combined.
  3. Dip and coat: Dip the cinnamon roll pieces into the egg mixture, making sure they are fully coated but not overly soaked.
  4. Cook: Heat a lightly greased nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Cook the bites in batches, turning until golden brown and cooked through on all sides (about 2–3 minutes per side).
  5. Warm the icing: Microwave the included icing packet for 5–10 seconds until pourable. Drizzle generously over the cooked bites.
  6. Serve warm: Plate and serve immediately—perfect with fresh fruit, powdered sugar, or maple syrup if desired!

💡 Tips:

  • Use a toothpick or fork to flip the bites easily in the pan.
  • Serve with maple syrup for dipping or sprinkle with chopped pecans for extra crunch.
  • These also make a great dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
